The Mourner's Kaddish is from the Jewish tradition.
This prayer is over 2,000 years old and the vibration of these words brings a sense of timelessness. The Mourner's Kaddish is for and recited by the living in remembrance of both loved ones and the eternal nature of the Universe.
As a Jewish woman, Norma Jean's personal experience has taught her much about the traditions of my lineage as well as the ceremonies and rituals that bring comfort during times of change, including endings and death.
Completing the circle of this collection of prayers, the Mourner's Kaddish is for the end, for remembrance, and the Universe or a higher power that encompasses it all. This prayer reminds me of the endlessness that is the possible and the abundance and peace that is bestowed upon us by the Universe if we only remember it is always available to us.
This track is recited and accompanied by Norma Jean who also plays the Tibetan Singing Bowls.
This album is for everyone and in remembrance of our loved ones..
